Gap Year Brand Activation

A series of on-campus events were carried out in partnership with Brand USA to promote the United States as a travel destination as a part of a gap year trip. The Gap Year USA activation centered around a beer pong competition with prize giveaways. The goal was to increase consumer engagement and was carried out at a number of university campuses across the UK.

Beer pong was chosen as the theme for the events as this a popular game and pass time on many American university campuses. Students could sign up for the competition, with the winner on each campus receiving a Gap Year USA t-shirt and a voucher to put towards their next STA Travel booking. Flyers were also handed out to participants and spectators promoting some of the popular and unique experiences in the United States that STA Travel could offer.
